1 bag is £30, 4 bags are £100 (£25 a bag) and 6 bags are £120 (£20 a bag). Every bag is a 120 litre bag of dry, seasoned hardwood.

A cubic metre is 1,000 litres, which is 8.33 of our 120 litre bags. We give you 9 full bags, so you get more than a cubic metre: £150 collected from Wenvoe or £160 delivered within 3 miles.

A 120 litre bag is much easier to carry through a house or garden than a builder's bag, and it makes it simple to know exactly how much wood you are getting.

Our prices are for the logs. Bags are not included in the price.

Yes. For every new customer you refer to us who places an order of 4 bags or more, we'll give you 1 bag extra on your next order. Just ask them to mention your name when they order.

Yes. Regular customers can set up a subscription with set pricing, so logs are dropped off through the winter without you having to ask each time. Call or text to arrange it.

Yes — delivery is free within 3 miles of Wenvoe, CF5. That covers Wenvoe, Culverhouse Cross and many nearby addresses.

Yes. We deliver further afield — including Cardiff, Penarth, Dinas Powys and Barry — and charge the extra distance at cost. Send us your postcode for a price.

Yes. We split our hardwood on site and stack it in racks under a roof so air moves through and rain stays off. Every batch is moisture tested before bagging and is under 20%.

Mixed local hardwoods. Our wood comes from local tree surgery work, so the mix varies by batch — typically ash, oak, sycamore, beech, birch, hawthorn and cherry, the trees that grow most around the Vale of Glamorgan. All of it is dried to under 20% moisture.

Wet wood wastes its energy boiling off water. Logs under 20% moisture burn hotter and cleaner, with less smoke and less tar building up in your flue or chimney.

Yes. Dry, seasoned hardwood like ours is ideal for wood burning stoves, multi-fuel stoves, open fires, chimineas and fire pits.

Our wood comes from local tree surgery work around the area. We split it, dry it under cover and store it ourselves in Wenvoe.
